What's New in Music...
I just reviewed two new compilations of the music from the Fes Festival of World Sacred Music. There are songs in Arabic, and other languages covering music and chants about God (in other words - all religions are featured...)

You can hear new music from the Fes Festival plus some Rai music from US based Morrocan singer Mourad.

Great new music is out this winter (1998/99) from Assi Hallani, Mouhamad Fouad and Nawal Zoghbi. So so music is out from Deana Haddad, Samira Saed and Majida El Roumy.

I especially loved the Nawal Zoghbi, such a solid album!!
